Project Three


Before:

This room had great bones and is a great size for a child's room.  Builder beige (bordering on peach...) walls made this space look "temporary" and not fit for a train and car loving four year old.














After:

I gave the majority of the walls a more "masculine" neutral and added the denim blue as an accent.  On the wall left of the picture I painted a road with magnetic paint, and added magnets to wood cut-outs shaped like cars and trucks that the four year old can move around on the wall.  Also added some red accents in the sheets, baskets on the bookshelf and of course the art work DIY that this little guy did himself. Add a brand new denim blue plaid quilt and voila...a room fit for a boy.
